Dr. Nystrom has practiced medicine in Florida since 1996. Board Certified in Family Practice, he sees patients 10 years and up. He manages all types of medical problems except Obstetrics. After receiving a Degree in Biology from Tulane University and working in Biomedical Research, Dr. Nystrom completed medical school at C. E. U. Xochicalco in 1992. He then specialized in Family Medicine at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, NY. where he was Chief Resident. He was Chief of Staff at Advent Hospital Zephyrhills. Dr. Nystrom also provides competency evaluations for the Sixth Judicial Circuit Guardianship and Developmental Disabilities Committee. He volunteers for the Boy Scouts, plays the cello in the Dade City Symphony, enjoys hunting and camping, is a member of The Knights of Columbus, and runs Emmanuel Ministries Food Bank with his wife Pastor Marcia.
